NCMA Small Business Event - Registration for Small Businesses
On Thursday, October 29, 2020, from 9AM to 1PM, the NCMA Woodlawn Chapter will host its 3rd Annual Small Business Networking Event. The virtual event connects large Prime contractors with small businesses supporting their mission. It offers a way for small businesses to position themselves to win in the government marketplace and for large businesses to capitalize on the unique features a small business can offer, becoming a “win-win” for both companies.
The Small Business Networking Event has been successful over the past two years due to the participation of the small business community. This year, the NCMA Small Business committee intends to make the event bigger and better than last year, and we’re inviting you to participate.
The event typically hosts 16+ large businesses and government OSDBU offices attending and connecting with the industry small businesses. As a small business, you’ll have a chance to better position yourself to win in the government marketplace with a large prime contractor.
The heart of this event are a series of multiple short Roundtable Connections – allowing YOU choose who you want to meet! Roundtables are an opportunity for small business participants to: 1) introduce themselves; 2) describe their company capabilities; and 3) ask questions. The large host company explains the skills and capabilities that they are seeking from small businesses. Each Roundtable Connection will last 15 minutes.
